At least 12 people were injured in a grenade attack in a busy Srinagar market near the Tourist Reception Centre. The attack created panic among shoppers just a day before the J&K assembly session. The grenade, aimed at a security vehicle, missed its target. Police have launched a search for the terrorists responsible.
