TGI Fridays has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas, aiming to restructure and explore strategic alternatives for long-term viability. The company’s 39 US owned restaurants will remain operational, while 56 US franchises and 40 international locations are not affected. The pandemic and capital structure issues are cited as primary reasons.
