NTA’s task, says HC, refuses to assess IIT aspirant’s score

The Bombay High Court has denied an IIT aspirant’s plea to take the JEE (Advanced) exam after the National Testing Agency (NTA) flagged his JEE (Mains) scorecard as a ‘case of unfair means’ (UFM). The court upheld NTA’s decision, finding no reason to doubt the agency’s assessment or interfere with the UFM designation, while keeping open the option for the student to challenge his debarment separately.
