Mustakim Bhathiara, a 38-year-old Indian cook from Kapadvanj, was executed in Kuwait on April 28 for the 2019 murder of his employer, Rehana Khan. He had been working in Kuwait for seven years after previous stints in Dubai and Bahrain. Following his conviction in 2021, his body was returned to Ahmedabad and buried in Kapadvanj on Wednesday.
