J&K villagers turn to ‘Modi bunkers’ as fears grow of India-Pak conflict

Following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, residents in the remote border villages of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, are preparing their underground bunkers, locally known as “Modi bunkers.” These bunkers, built during Prime Minister Modi’s tenure to protect civilians from cross-border shelling, are being restocked with essentials.
