India’s latest budget allocates an additional Rs 10,000 crore to the fund-of-funds for startups, including a dedicated deeptech fund. The scheme for a three-year tax holiday for startups is extended to 2030. The budget also includes Rs 500 crore for an AI centre of excellence and significant support for deeptech research and development.
