The discovery of 30 inscriptions at the 450-year-old Abbana Bettu Basadi in Karnataka has provided new insights into Jain heritage. The inscriptions, mostly in Kannada script, date from the 16th to 19th centuries and highlight the contributions of various patrons, including members of the Bhairarasa dynasty.
