A Pakistani tribunal has sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan to 14 years and his wife Bushra Bibi to seven years in jail for corruption. The charges include accepting land from a property magnate in exchange for facilitating money laundering worth $240 million. Opposition leaders plan to challenge the verdict. Khan maintains the charges are politically motivated.
