A controversy emerged when Harsha Richhariya sat on a chariot with seers during the Niranjani Akhara’s procession at the Kumbh. Swami Anand Swaroop objected, saying the Kumbh is for spirituality, not for models. Mahant Ravindra Puri stated that wearing saffron for Sanatan events is allowed and clarified that Richhariya had taken ‘mantra deeksha’.
