An election official has requested the Delhi police to file a case against BJP candidate Parvesh Verma for allegedly distributing shoes to voters, violating the Model Code of Conduct. This isn’t the first controversy involving Verma, who previously handed cash to women voters. The Delhi assembly election results will be announced on February 8.
