Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has been on an indefinite hunger strike for 50 days seeking a legal guarantee for minimum support price on crops. The Supreme Court will hear his plea on January 15, addressing his demand and considering contempt action against Punjab authorities for not moving him to a hospital despite prior orders.
