A gang of cyber fraudsters defrauded a 70-year-old widow of Rs 93 lakh by posing as an UK-based pilot and fabricated customs department officials. They built an emotional connect and convinced her that a valuable parcel from the UK required clearance fees. Frightened by fake documents, she transferred the amount.
