China warned the US against “playing with fire” with arms sales to Taiwan after President Biden authorized $571 million in military aid. This follows previous aid packages and includes tactical radio systems and gun mounts. Taiwan thanked the US, while China criticised the move, having previously conducted military exercises near Taiwan in response to US arms sales.
