The deadlock over the Champions Trophy hosting has been resolved with the ICC announcing that India will play its matches in the 50-over tournament at a neutral venue rather than in host country Pakistan. Similarly, Pakistan will follow the same arrangement for tournaments hosted in India through 2027.
