A Delhi court granted interim bail to Umar Khalid, accused in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case, for a family wedding. The bail, with conditions including restricted movement and social media ban, allows him to attend his cousin’s wedding and related ceremonies. Khalid has been in jail since September 2020.
