The BJP plans to send notices to about 20 MPs who missed the ‘one nation, one election’ bill vote. The bill seeks to hold simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. It failed to get the needed two-thirds majority. Opposition parties opposed the bill. The government said the bill aligns with the Constitution.
