In a chaotic incident in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final, third umpire Anantha Padmanabhan reversed a wide call, then reversed his own reversal after Madhya Pradesh captain Rajat Patidar protested. Padmanabhan apologized on-air, admitting he missed the ball pitching outside the marker. Patidar subsequently hit a six off the final ball, but Mumbai still won the match.
