Foreign investors infuse over Rs 24,000 crore in Indian equity markets in December

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) poured over Rs 24,400 crore into Indian equities during the first week of December, reversing the selling trend of the previous two months. This influx signals renewed confidence in India’s economic outlook after significant withdrawals in October and November. FPIs invested heavily on December 6th, contributing the most in a single day that week.
