West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has urged the Centre to address the situation in Bangladesh by seeking UN intervention. She proposed deploying peacekeeping forces and offering shelter to persecuted Indians. Banerjee demanded clarity from the external affairs minister in Parliament and criticized the Centre’s inaction over the past ten days. BJP leader Amit Malviya responded to her comments.
