Bangladesh’s interim leader, Muhammad Yunus, announced his government’s intention to extradite former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from India to face prosecution for alleged crimes during her rule, including casualties during the August protests that led to her departure. Yunus pledged to hold elections after implementing reforms.
