India’s Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the country is developing a national counter-terrorism policy and strategy. The plan, to be unveiled in 2025, aims to create a unified approach to combating terrorism across all agencies. Shah emphasized the need for state police forces to take a leading role, supported by central agencies, in implementing the strategy.
