India condemned the violence outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton by pro-Khalistani groups, urging Canada for better security measures for consular events. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and opposition MP Chandra Arya also criticized the extremism, while the Ontario Sikhs and Gurdwara Council called for a thorough investigation.
