Bibek Debroy, a renowned economist and chairman of the Prime Minister’s economic advisory council, passed away at 69. He was celebrated for his contributions to economic theory, policy, and social equity advocacy. Debroy also led the Finance Ministry’s committee on infrastructure and framed strategic growth policies for India.
