The Taliban has enforced a new rule prohibiting Afghan women from using their voices in the presence of other women, extending their already stringent limitations on women’s rights. This includes restrictions on reciting the Quran aloud, education, employment, and public appearances, severely curtailing women’s freedoms in Afghanistan.
