Coordinated patrols by Army, PLA set to begin by October-end

Around 50% of troop disengagement at Depsang and Demchok in eastern Ladakh has been completed. The Indian Army plans to start coordinated patrolling with the PLA by month-end. Talks on buffer zones and other sensitive areas continue while both sides dismantle posts and monitor progress through UAVs.
