BSNL is in talks with global and local data storage companies like Google and Microsoft to monetize its extensive land assets for mobile edge computing centers. As part of its turnaround strategy, the telco is testing 4G services with 1.8 crore users and plans to install 1 lakh 4G towers by mid-next year, with future upgrades to 5G.
