Led by Sophie Devine, they posted 158/5, with Amelia Kerr (43) and Brooke Halliday (38) making key contributions. Kerr also excelled with the ball, taking 3/24. The victory capped off a momentous day for New Zealand cricket, as the men’s team also achieved their first Test win in India in 36 years earlier in the day.
