Residents of riot-hit Maharajganj, Bahraich, rushed to dismantle parts of their properties following a PWD demolition notice due to alleged encroachment. Traders quickly emptied shops, while some questioned why only specific locations were targeted. Notices were served on 23 homes and shops, including properties owned by Abdul Hameed, a suspect in recent communal violence.
