Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant narrowly avoided a run-out during India’s second innings in the first Test against New Zealand. Sarfaraz, eyeing his maiden Test century, called off a risky second run while Pant continued running. Fortunately, Tom Blundell’s misfield allowed Pant to return safely. Sarfaraz soon celebrated his century, bolstering India’s fightback.
