Combating terrorism, extremism, and separatism is vital for the SCO’s growth and integration. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasized cooperation based on mutual respect and sovereignty. Jaishankar also stressed the importance of reforming the UN Security Council to make it more representative and accountable. India remains firm on respecting sovereignty, standing against China’s BRI.
