Protesting doctors in New Delhi met with Bengal chief secretary Manoj Pant, expressing dissatisfaction as their ‘fast-onto-death’ strike entered its 10th day. Pant assured that the state government was addressing seven out of ten demands, but couldn’t provide a timeline for the remaining three.
