The state cabinet increased the share capital of the Maulana Azad Minorities Financial Development Corporation from Rs 700 crore to Rs 1,000 crore. Loan guarantees for the corporation were raised from Rs 30 crore to Rs 500 crore. The government doubled the salaries of madrassa teachers who teach non-traditional subjects under contract.
