Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are cautiously expanding their 5G networks due to low capacity utilization and monetization opportunities. Both companies aim to upgrade their existing 4G users to 5G services. Jio and Airtel’s suppliers, Nokia and Ericsson, expect further investments only with increased demand. Jio’s current 5G network covers over 90% of India’s population.
