Two foreign climbers, Michelle Theresa Dvorak from the USA and Fay Jane Manners from the UK, were safely rescued from Chaukhamba-III peak in the Garhwal Himalayas by an Indian Air Force team after being stranded for nearly 72 hours. They were initially provided with essential supplies by a French expedition team before being located and airlifted to safety.
