Rakesh Gangwal, co-founder of IndiGo, purchased $100 million worth of Southwest shares, between $29 and $30 each, following a trading window opening. This comes amid a board overhaul and other changes enforced by activist investor Elliott Investment Management, including the retirement of six directors and executive chairman Gary Kelly stepping down.
