NLCIL has produced 1,234 crore units of green power, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by one crore tonne. The company aims for a renewable energy capacity of 10,000 MW by 2030. It has formed subsidiaries for asset monetisation and clean energy initiatives with significant projects in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Assam.
