The Government has lifted the ban on international exports of non-basmati white rice, implementing a minimum export price of $490 per tonne. Originally imposed to enhance domestic availability, the ban has been revoked effective immediately. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade confirmed this policy amendment, which will remain in effect until further notice.
