India’s foreign exchange reserves reached a record high of $692.3 billion as of September 20, marking six consecutive weeks of growth, according to RBI data released on Friday. The reserves increased by $2.8 billion in the latest reporting week and had risen by a total of $19.3 billion over the previous five weeks. The rupee settled at 83.
