Government mulling raising ethanol prices, MSP of sugar

The government is considering increasing ethanol prices, raising the minimum selling price of sugar, and reviewing sugar exports. They aim to achieve a 20% ethanol blending target by March 2026. The sugar industry supports increased ethanol production but seeks higher prices. A committee is also deliberating on raising the minimum selling price of sugar.
