The unemployment rate for individuals aged 15 and above in India remained unchanged at 3.2% in 2023-24, while the joblessness rate for women increased to 3.2%. The labour force participation rate reached a seven-year high, with significant growth observed in both rural and urban areas as per the latest PLFS report.
