The West Bengal Medical Council has cancelled the medical registration of Sandip Ghosh, former principal of R G Kar Medical College. This action was taken after he failed to respond to a show-cause notice and was arrested on charges of financial irregularities and evidence destruction. Doctor organizations are demanding reforms within the council.
