Atishi will be sworn in as Delhi’s new chief minister on September 21, following Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation. She becomes the third woman to hold this office. Atishi, who managed significant portfolios in Kejriwal’s cabinet, must demonstrate her majority in the Delhi Assembly during a session scheduled for September 26-27.
