SpiceJet has revealed it failed to pay Rs 2,200 crore in TDS deducted from employees’ salaries and Rs 1,353 crore in PF from April 2020 to August 2023. The airline seeks to raise Rs 3,000 crore by month-end to resolve financial problems like grounded aircraft due to unpaid dues and maintenance issues.
