The government has launched a GNSS-based toll collection system using on-board units in vehicles, aiming to eliminate physical toll plazas and ensure nonstop highway travel. Starting with trucks and buses by June 2025, the system will expand to private vehicles by 2026-27. This initiative promises a smoother experience for highway users.
