The Union Cabinet has approved several initiatives, including expanding the Ayushman Bharat scheme to cover all senior citizens aged 70 and above. This extension provides around 6 crore seniors with free health insurance of up to Rs. 5 lakh per family annually. The scheme aims to improve healthcare access for approximately 4.5 crore families across India.
