The Competition Commission of India has approved the merger of Tata Motors Finance Ltd into Tata Capital Ltd, aligning with Tata Motors’ strategy to exit non-core businesses and invest in emerging technologies. The merger will result in Tata Motors acquiring a 4.7 percent stake in the newly formed entity, enhancing its financial structure.
