HP has placed a substantial manufacturing order with Dixon Technologies for laptops and desktops. Production is set to begin by April next year at Dixon’s Oragadam unit near Chennai, as part of the government’s IT hardware production-linked incentive scheme, reinforcing the Make in India initiative.
