India launched the Agni-4 intermediate range ballistic missile from Chandipur in Odisha, achieving a strike range of 4,000 km while meeting all operational and technical criteria. This milestone comes shortly after commissioning its second nuclear-powered submarine, INS Arighaat, which is equipped with K-4 missiles. A third SSBN will be commissioned as INS Aridhaman next year.
