RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das observed a resurgence in rural demand as indicated by recent GDP figures and FMCG data. Private consumption grew by 7.4%, accounting for 56% of GDP, while investment rose by 7.5%, making up 35% of GDP. Credit to agriculture and industries also experienced notable growth.
