The systematic dehumanising of women by the Taliban in Afghanistan

The Taliban’s resurgence in Afghanistan has led to severe restrictions on women’s rights. Despite initial hopes for a more moderate rule, numerous laws have been enacted that limit women’s freedom of movement, education, and employment. The latest morality law further curtails their autonomy by enforcing strict dress codes and silencing their voices.
